June 11th, 2008 On the 18th of March the new Rörstrand Museum was officially opened by Princess Victoria. The museum was designed by White Arkitekter AB and the music for the permanent exhibition was composed by Michael Ellgren. During the opening ceremony Michael and Pierre Ellgren performed a slightly humoristic piece of music played entirely on porcelain. Amanda Jenssen's debut album "Killing My Darlings" was released on the 7th of May. It went straight in at the number one spot on the Swedish albums chart and it didn't take long before it reached platinum status. One of the songs is called "Come On" and was written by Linda Sundblad together with Marit Bergman. Linda has also been busy writing songs with Darin and Måns Zelmerlöv. On the download only bonus track version of Kleerup's self-titled debut album on iTunes you will find a track called "History" with Linda Sundblad on vocals. The song is not available on the CD release. Henrik Edenhed has been rewarded with a gold album for his work on Oh Laura's album "A Song Inside My Head, A Demon In My Bed". Henrik produced and mixed the album and also co-wrote several tracks. As a member of Staireo, Sebastian Forslund is currently busy recording their next album which is planned to be released in Japan later this year. Their last album, "Multi De La Tjossa", was released there in November 2007. Sebastian has also produced the new album by Pihlis, "Framgång Förlåter Allt" (Svedjebruk). Michael Ellgren has, occasionally with contributions from Sebastian Forslund and Jonathan Hummelman, completed work on two albums, "Chillout Interior" and "Chillout Lounge", for Swedish AUX AB/Adept. Michael is currently working on a new album for Universal Publishing Production Music/Match Music called "Chillout Lounge Design". At the same time he is also producing music for the next series of Rachel's Favourite Food - "Food From The Sun". Michael has written the music for all of the previous series of the show which have been hugely successful on BBC1 and UKTV among others. The tour ended on the Saturday before last with a successful gig in Madrid, Spain, where they opened for Metallica in front of a crowd of 50.000!   Amanda Jenssen - Killing My Darlings Oh Laura - A Song Inside My Head... Staireo - Multi De La Tjossa     February 17th, 2008 As previously reported Linda Sundblad has been busy writing songs for her forthcoming second album, but she has also written songs for other artists. "Speak 'N Spell", the first single from Elin Lanto's forthcoming album, was written by Linda and Johan Bobäck. Elin Lanto's new label is Catchy Tunes. She is predicted to become the next big music export from Sweden. Linda has also written material for the debut album of Amanda Jensen who finished second in the latest edition of the Swedish version of "Idol". Henrik Edehed attended this year's Grammis awards together with his brother in arms, Ollie Olson. Their work with Oh Laura resulted in the band being nominated in the best newcomer category. Henrik has also recently done mixing work for Jordin Sparks, the winner of "American Idol". Henrik and Ollie run MixInc together since 2005.
